Michael Kaye graduated from the University of Alberta and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.  Awards include “THE ALUMNI AWARD OF EXCELLENCE” (2004) AND “ THE ALUMNI CENTENARY AWARD FOR VOLENTARY SEVICE TO THE UNIVERSITY” (2010) by the University of Alberta, and the Fashion Group International’s 2004 Rising Star Award.  IN 2010,   THE MAX REGER FOUNDATION OF AMERICA AWARDED HIM” THE EXTRODINARY ACHIEVEMENT IN THE ARTS AWARD”.
